Hi all
I would just like to say if anyone is interested in a boat loader have a look at the Custom Boat Loader. I have just finished putting my Electric remote control loader on the only problem I had was my wife needed longer legs but that was no problem after I told her to put her high heels back on to do the job. What a great unit I'm happy works great as you can see by my pictures if you press on the link below. The custom Boat loader is a good Aussie product.

I don't know about the boat loader but those roasts looked good.

Cobb is another great invention if you had a look through my pic's you would have seen the stainless steel spits I made for myself. I tend to use the cobbs more I have three of them one in the caravan & two at home.

Great piccy's looks like a very useful and 'back-saving' device. Have you considered running a tie down (rope etc) from the bow forward to the front of your vehicle (bull bar if you had one - might be a good reason to get one) to counter the upward lift from air pressure whilst travelling? Hate to see the boat, carrier and roof 'come adrift' worse still land on someone following behind.
p.s. don't forget to unload before reversing back any further into the garage. (ouch!)

Hi pojo

The Boat loader is from Custom Boat loaders in W.A mine took 10 workdays from ordering to delivery. I have the Electric remote control model the cost was $4000.00 delivered the loader is made out of structural grade aluminium & is one piece so when you receive it you just lift it onto your roof do up six u bolts adjust 2 ropes & you are done. The model I have weighs 39kg & can take a tinny up to 100kgs. The loader has a mesh floor so you can also put your fuel container, life jackets, tackle box, ect, under the tinny.

& if anyone is thinking I must have shares in the company I don't

I just believe in promoting good Aussie Inventions that work & it does I hooked 4 ropes up & stood back with remote in hand, I did not have to assist the loading by hand at any stage of loading or unloading. Put it simply this loader is brilliant.
